Lights, Camera, Fashion! – Ilhaam Gordon

Groenvlei starts the month of September with a fantastic fashion show, hosted in the school hall on the 1st of the month. We’ve seen James Bond, the military, the mafia, and even some Egyptians. They’ve definitely taken fashion shows to the next level.

The participants of the show (students of Groenvlei High) have spent a month prepping for the big day with the excellent guidance of Mr Saban, its choreographer. Our models have “strutted their stuff” and showcased style and the latest fashion trends.

“At first I was nervous but the energy from the crowd just gave me the confidence to  do my best and rock the runway.” – Groenvlei Model.

It is important for us to appreciate the work of both Mr Saban and his team for the effort they put into making the show a success. I have no doubt that everyone will be waiting to hear about the next event Groenvlei High has planned.
