DANCING TO THE LIGHT OF AFRICA Written by- Monique Davids and Wardah Isaacs

The GVHS dance crew was started in term 3 and went off the rocket as 44 dancers were introduced. Ever since the flaming performance of the Africa Ablaze crew, our very own dance squad has been working hard to light the stage on fire.

They train two days a week for two hours after school, going home tired yet ready to roar and dance all the way home. The dance couldn’t be more ecstatic about the great choreographers from the phenomenal dance company Dance for All. The fun is yet to end even though this year might have flew in just two seconds our dancing program will still go on. The dance program enables you to learn skills that can apply to your life such as making mistakes and learning from them.

The dancers have been certificated on the 5th November to show appreciation and allowing them to realise that their hard work and commitment will be recognized and paid off in the end.
