Groenvlei High was established in July 1979 and run by Mr. J.Van Wyk, our first principal. Our school played a major role in changing the political landscape to reshape education for the better.
The building is still the same but the infrastructure has been upgraded as of last year and 2018. The school offers many programs for the betterment of our students, such as those mentioned in this newsletter.
Next year, Groenvlei High will reach a milestone by celebrating its 40th birthday. “However, we will continue to strive to provide quality education to all learners in a relevant and holistic way” – Mr. N.T. Adamson (current principal of Groenvlei High).
